Where and When Is the Florida MPRE Being Administered in 2025?

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a key component of the Bar exam process in Florida. You should hold off taking the MPRE until you have taken a Professional Responsibility course. You can take the MPRE before or after graduating from law school. Just be sure to schedule and pass this test within 25 months of the other General Bar Exam components.

How long is the MPRE?

The MPRE is a 2-hour test. The test questions are multiple-choice. There are 60 questions, but only 50 are scored. You will not know which questions are not scored so be sure to complete all questions. 

When Is the Florida MPRE being administered in 2025?

Each year the MPRE is administered in March, August, and November. The 2025 Florida MPRE can be taken on the following dates:

March 26 or 27, 2025

  • Registration deadline January 23, 2025
  • Apply for accommodations by December 4, 2025.

August 20 or 21, 2025

  • Registration deadline June 18, 2025

You can take the MPRE at Pearson Vue Testing Centers throughout Florida. There are many locations in the state. Depending on availability, you may not be assigned to the facility closest to you. The earlier you register, the better the likelihood of getting a choice of location.
