If I could sum up my experience with Elizabeth, I would say she under promised and overdelivered. She is absolutely fantastic in every way and if I could give her more than five stars, I would not hesitate to do so! She is incredibly thorough and detail-oriented which made a huge impact on my application to the Florida Bar.  Most importantly, the outcome she helped me to achieve was far better than I could have imagined or hoped for. Her professionalism and ability to convey empathy towards me when I was disclosing shameful and embarrassing information gave me confidence and allowed me to be fully honest and transparent without feeling judged. By contrast, her straight-forward approach helped to keep me on track and organized.  Additionally, her experience and breadth of knowledge was crucial to the success of my outcome. Elizabeth is one of the most professional, caring, and dedicated attorneys in her field. Coming out of law school I had issues with my character and fitness. As an attorney from another jurisdiction applying to the FL Bar, I was selected for an Investigative Hearing before the FBBE. I concluded that retaining counsel would probably be the best option under the circumstance — and was I ever right! Elizabeth was wonderful! She went through my application with a fine-toothed comb and found all sorts of errors, unintentional omissions, and ambiguities I would have never noticed by myself. She also gave me so much practical advice on how to most effectively present myself to the FBBE, both in my application and during my Hearing, that by the time the Hearing arrived I was able to sail through it without any surprises or hiccups.

Forget your ego; forget the fact that you’re an intelligent, educated person — none of that matters in regard to the Byzantine world of Bar applications. Elizabeth instructed me to do many things that were counterintuitive, and I often found myself instinctively resisting what later turned out to be excellent advice. She knows the process very, very well and really dedicates the time to make sure that what you present to the board is your best possible application and answers.

So if you’re thinking about hiring her — my strong recommendation is to do it!  And listen to her and have confidence in the fact that, no matter what you may think of the difficulty of the process, she is always working in your corner.
